Do I have to paint the panels?

Depending on the area of installation we do recommend some form of coating as raw metal is porous and will absorb fats, liquids or oils if left uncoated. In high use areas such as a shower recess or splashback, we highly recommend a clear coat of paint at minimum.  

Raw metals may have surface scratches present.
