How do I cut the panels?

See all our video guides and instructions here.

On site cutting can be achieved with an aluminium suitable cutting disc in a track saw or angle grinder, this disc wont burn the panel and will achieve a neat finished edge.  Some filing may be required so it handy to have a fine, metal file on hand. Smaller sections can also be cut with a quality pair of tin snips.

For premium results Pressed Tin Panels® aluminium, galvanised or copper panels are best cut with an industrial guillotine and/or notching machine. Please contact us to ask about our cutting services.
Powder coated panels can also be cut, for this we recommend lubricating your cutting disc with bee or candle wax. This allows for ease of cutting and prevents burring. See more information below.
