What do I install them onto?

The panels are best installed on a clean, smooth, solid surface. The substrate will depend on your project. For ceilings or feature walls lining boards such as plywood or MDF  (medium-density fibreboard) are suitable. This then allows a nail or rivet to be placed anywhere opposed to being restricted to battens.
For kitchen splashbacks we recommend a fire retardant cement sheeting or similar substrate that complies with building standards. For wet areas a marine board or substrate suitable for water proofing is recommended. We suggest liaising with your builder for more advise on your particular application.
